Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

The perfect snacks, smoothies are just what you need to keep you going till your lunch break. The peanut butter and banana variety is simply amazing, especially if you have sweet tooth.

Ingredients

3 frozen ripe bananas
1/4 cup of peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
1 1/2 cups of milk

1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of chopped roasted peanuts

Direction

Like all smoothie recipe, all there is fixing yourself a glass of peanut butter and banana smoothie is to throw all the ingredients into a blender – except the roasted peanuts. Blend until it is smooth and top your glass with the chopped roasted peanut.

 

 

 

 

Banana Pancake

There is just some much you can do with bananas. This time around, it is an on-the-go pancake. It’s healthy and just what you need to give you the right calories to burn all day long

Ingredients

2 ripe Bananas
200 grams of Plain Flour or Wheat flour
2 Eggs
3 tablespoon of  milk (evaporated, condensed, or powdered)

1 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
A pinch of salt to tast
Water

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Cooking oil to grease the pan

Direction

To get your pancake batter ready…

  • Blend the bananas and add it to a bowl where you’ve mixed the eggs, sugar, salt, and milk.
  • Sift in the baking powder and the flour and whisk until the batter thickens
  • Gradually add water until the batter has a runny consistency

To make the pancakes…

  • Grease the non-sticky pan with cooking oil and scoop some batter into it
  • Leave it too cook over low heat until both side get golden brown

Once you are done with the entire batch, you can serve them with any smoothie or beverage of your choice (a healthy one).

Toasted Coconut Coffee Smoothie

Guess we are going ‘all bananas today’! Believe me, this is a perfect make sense smoothie option to power up your day. To get started, you will be needing:

Ingredients

1/4 cup of sweetened flaked coconut

1 cup of coconut milk

1/2 cup of frozen-ice cube- coffee

1 large frozen banana

2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Direction

Save the coconut flakes, place other ingredients in a blender and blend till you get a smooth puree. Next, pour the smoothie into a glass and sprinkle the coconut flake (which should have been toasted golden brown in an oven).

Tired of eating your eggs boiled or fried? Well, you can spice things up by baking your eggs. There many baked egg recipes but here is one you need to try first. All you’ll be needing include:

17g of butter

Grated cheese

salt and pepper

Ham

Making these awesome meal takes just 10 minutes. To get started, line your ovenproof dish with the butter and ham. Next, crack the eggs over them, then add line the top with grated cheese, salt, pepper and leave to bake.
